Workshops for Chairs and Secretaries of PPC’s were held on Tuesday, October 1st at the Menlo Park hotel in Galway City and on Wednesday, October 2nd at the Breaffy House Hotel in Castlebar. Both workshops were very well attended.
The workshops were conducted by Justin Harkin, a native of our archdiocese and now working as a Pastoral Resource Person in the diocese of Elphin.
The sessions helped delegates to reflect on the vision of Parish Pastoral Councils within the broader vision of Christ for his Church. Through his excellent facilitation, Justin helped explore the question: What is the role of a Parish Pastoral Council and in particular the specific roles of the Chair and Secretary?
