On Saturday, May 14th 103 enthusiastic young people went on the annual DYC Pilgrimage in ideal conditions. This year we were joined by the Papal Cross group from Elphin who were led by Bishop Kevin Doran and Permanent Deacon Frank McGuinness and chaplain to Summerhill College, Fr. Cryan. Fr. Shane Sullivan was homilist at Mass on the summit. Well done to Siobhán Bradley, diocesan youth officer and her great team for all the hard work in organizing and thanks to Fr. Charlie McDonnell, Adm, Westport for the warm welcome and kind assistance.
