Bereavement Care at Knock Shrine.
During the month of November those who have lost loved ones know only too well what a lonely and difficult experience it is to deal with grief. At such times it is important to remember two things: one, help is available; and, two, understanding what we’re going through gives us courage and strength.
In the Family Centre at Knock Shrine this November there will be a variety of programmes which aim to accompany those who struggle on the journey of bereavement.
- On each Wednesday morning at 11am trained facilitators will meet with bereaved people as a group, helping them find comfort through sharing and listening to one another.
- On Sunday the 8th of November the annual Mass for bereaved parents will take place.
- While at 3pm on Sunday the 15th of November, Monica Morley will present a workshop entitled ‘Finding Hope after Loss’.
All events are open to everyone and it is hoped those attending will find a light of hope to brighten their way through what can be a difficult and painful time of the year.
