On February 11th and 13th workshops were held for parish secretaries in Westport and Tuam. Various aspects of parish administration were covered, initially with a presentation from Trish Ganley, Secretary in Athenry, Marian Merrick, Secretary in Claremorris and Anne Cooke, Secretary in Letterfrack. Items such as parish finance, sacramental programmes, correspondence, parish records, computer systems along with many other items were covered in the presentations and the valuable discussions that took place afterwards.
