On Saturday March 9th a great group of happy and hardy young students braved the cold conditions of the March winds to do the second leg of the Tóchar Phádraic. Fr. Pat Farragher celebrated Mass for the group in the traditional Mass Rock location at Bohea en-route to the base of the Reek from Aughagower. [...]
Congrats to over 100 people who braved the elements of a cold and wet January day on Saturday the 26th to walk the first half of the Tóchar from Ballintubber to Aughagower. On Sunday, June 9th the annual Catholic Grandparents Pilgrimage took place in Knock Shrine. Capacity crowds filled the basilica for a great afternoon of prayer, devotion and much enjoyment. Fr. Benny McHale was chief celebrant. Foundress of the CGA Mrs. Catherine Wiley was very pleased with the day.

Celebration of Lady’s Well in Athenry. A long-standing tradition of over 700 hundred years – hundreds of people visit this holy well on the feast of the Assumption. Local Parish Priest, Canon Tony King celebrated Mass on the feast day.
The annual Summer/Autumn pilgrimage to Máméan Mountain in the Maamturk Mountains took place on Sunday, August 5th. Turas na Croise, the Traditional Stations of the Cross began at 3.00 pm.
